Work Type: Full Time

Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed. 

Position is remote but incumbent must reside in Oklahoma City or Southwest Oklahoma area. 

Commercial Banking, credit card or financial industry experience preferred. 

Summary:

SUMMARY: Under the minimal direction of the ACC Commercial Payments Regional Manager, the ACC Commercial Payments Account Manager is responsible for developing new Purchasing Card and ePayables business, sourcing new sales opportunities from assigned local bank relationships, Treasury Management referrals, and internal and external industry conferences. The incumbent will also be responsible for increasing utilization of existing account and ensuring client satisfaction and relationship retention. Responsibilities also include, performing the consultative sales process by leveraging their expertise around accounts payable and procurement systems and commercial credit card processing. The incumbent is expected to travel in their assigned region up to 75% of the time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Execute the commercial credit card payments solution sales and retention strategies in assigned portfolio of bank customers and prospects to grow revenue, achieve sales goals, and ensure client satisfaction. Assume relationship management responsibility for new and existing clients. Follow the Customer Focused Banking (CFB) discipline and approach to client retention and development.

2. Use strong networking and relationship management skills, as well as business acumen and knowledge of the assigned markets, to ensure client satisfaction for existing P-card and ePayables accounts. Also, source new business opportunities and ensure the opportunities are pursued appropriately. Leverage relationships with local bank commercial lending teams and Treasury Management advisors to source new sales opportunities.

3. Work with existing clients to identify opportunities to increase line utilization and optimize financial operations. Drive incremental revenue to the bank via increased line utilization and client retention.

4. Conduct intensive Accounts Payable analysis and financial operation client reviews to determine opportunities for cash flow/cash position improvements. Recommend best-in-class implementation of ePayables solutions to manage financial risk and process efficiency.

5. Perform the end-to-end sales process independently, from cultivating and maintaining relationships to closing the deal to seamless transition to Commercial Payments Onboarding Specialist.

6. Provide expert advice to customers and prospects to optimize their business functions and accounts payable financial operations. Recommend best-in-class implementation of Commercial Payments solutions to manage financial risk and process efficiency.

7. Prepare, schedule and perform annual business reviews with top-tier clients and bi-annual reviews with all other current clients. Ensure effective communication with local bank commercial bankers to ensure end-to-end relationship management. Business reviews include analysis of current account utilization, technology updates and business use recommendations.

8. Develop strong partnership with other commercial product specialists including Treasury Management and Arvest Equipment Finance around customer requirements to ensure a full range of appropriate solutions are delivered.

9. Attend industry conferences to sorce sales opportunities by delivering product expertise at solutions expos and via speaking engagements. Leverage marketing programs and materials to effectively present Commercial Payment Solutions and generate sales opportunities.

10. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree in business related field (Finance, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, etc.) or equivalent relevant working or military experience required.

· 5 years of sales experience with proven track record of success required.

· Strong customer skills including desire to meet customer needs through sales required.

· Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint required.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.

· Experience in commercial credit or payments preferred.

· NAPCP Certified Purchasing Card Professional or IOFM Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay Certification for Solution Consultants or ability to complete within 12 months of meeting prerequisites required to test.

· Arvest experience preferred.

Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
